VanCity was founded in 1946 to provide financial services to the people of British Columbia. It is Canada's largest credit union, with $7.5 billion in assets, 280,000 members, and 39 branches throughout Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Victoria. VanCity owns Citizens Bank of Canada.
GTE ES developed Internet-based software for the real estate industry. The company is now called Interealty, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Geac Computer Corporation Limited.
Technologies Canada Inc.
In a joint venture with Telekom Malaysia, TM Orion provided and supported electronic commerce and financial services; Internet banking, credit/debit card services and network management services throughout Malaysia. The company became eXcape Solutions; a provider of wireless and wireline transaction-based customer service solutions for the hospitality, retail, fleet, and attractions markets.
